Ar. Paankaj Ggandhi is an architect, civil engineer, sustainability strategist, educator, and innovator with over 23 years of multidisciplinary experience in architecture, interiors, landscape, institutional planning, and sustainable development.
His work is driven by a deep commitment to climate-responsive design, vernacular wisdom, technical excellence, and human-centric architecture. With qualifications in both Civil Engineering and Architecture, he brings a unique ability to integrate design sensitivity with engineering precision, creating projects that are aesthetically refined, environmentally responsible, and practically executable.
An IGBC Accredited Professional and a trained practitioner in Earthen Architecture from Auroville, he advocates sustainable building practices rooted in local context, material authenticity, and long-term environmental stewardship.
Over the course of his career, he has led a diverse portfolio spanning residential, institutional, hospitality, healthcare, educational, spiritual, and large-scale development projects. His contributions have been recognized through multiple national awards, including accolades for educational campus design, institutional infrastructure, and socially impactful sustainable development projects.
A prolific innovator, he holds 23 patents across various design-related domains and actively contributes to the profession as a mentor, speaker, visiting faculty member, and thought leader on sustainability, climate-responsive architecture, and construction methodologies.

Vaishali Gandhi is the Co-Founder and Administrative Head of VH Design Studio. An Instrumentation and Control Engineer by qualification, she brings a structured, analytical, and process-driven approach to the organization. She oversees the firm’s financial management, administration, human resources, and operational governance, ensuring that VH functions with efficiency, transparency, and professionalism.
As the final authority on financial, HR, and administrative matters, Vaishali plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s culture, policies, and long-term stability. Her meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and commitment to excellence provide the backbone that enables VH Design Studio to focus on delivering high-quality design and consultancy services.

VASUDEV BALANI
Vasudev Ballaney is a key pillar of VH Design Studio, bringing a wealth of technical expertise, engineering knowledge, and industry experience to the organization. A Civil Engineer by qualification, he has worked with leading multinational organizations, including Adani and Shapoorji Pallonji, where he gained extensive exposure to large-scale projects, construction management, and engineering excellence.
At VH, he leads technical and engineering matters, ensuring that every project is approached with a strong foundation in practicality, buildability, structural understanding, and execution efficiency. His deep field experience enables the firm to evaluate design challenges through a comprehensive engineering lens, creating solutions that are both innovative and technically sound.
Beyond his technical leadership, Vasudev plays a pivotal role in client communication and relationship management. He serves as a trusted advisor in addressing critical project matters, resolving complex challenges, and maintaining strong stakeholder confidence. His balanced approach, combining technical rigor with effective communication, makes him an invaluable contributor to the successful delivery of VH’s projects and long-term client relationships.
